Thanks to all of our wonderful supporters, we have blown the Northern Colorado Anesthesia Makes Community Challenge Matching Gift for $10,000 out of the water! We reached our goal of $10,000 within a month of starting the challenge! What a great community we live in!
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month
Join us in celebrating our wonderful volunteers this month! Meals on Wheels has an invaluable fleet of over 200 volunteers each year helping to support our mission! We are so grateful for each one and want to recognize their efforts. We will be hosting Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 16-20 at Poudre Valley Hospital for all of our wonderful volunteers! Northern Colorado Anesthesia Makes Community Challenge Matching Gift for $10,000
Northern Colorado Anesthesia Consultants has made an offer that we hope you cannot refuse!
Judson Standard, the CEO of Northern Colorado Anesthesia has made a Community Challenge Matching Gift to Meals On Wheels for Fort Collins. NCAP will match donations made to Meals On Wheels, dollar for dollar up to $10,000, received from April 1st through September 1st. Read more about this in the Behind the Wheel Newsletter! Cuisine for a Cause Kickoff Party!
This month we are kicking off an ongoing fundraiser called Cuisine for a Cause with Drake Park Restaurant & Lounge/All Occasions Catering. They have partnered with several local area nonprofits to help raise money for each nonprofit’s cause simply by dining there or using their catering services. Each time you dine at Drake Park Restaurant & Lounge, present this ticket and 10% of your entire meal will be donated to our program. This also applies to any catered events you might have. We will host a “Kick-Off Party” on Saturday, April 28th from 5-9pm. Happy Hour begins at 4 and dinner service at 6pm. Mark your calendars and please join us and several board members at this event and enjoy a great meal all the while supporting our program! BUT, you don’t have wait to start raising money. Ed Carroll Motor Company Annual Car Show – View Event!
Meals on Wheels has been very near and dear to the Carroll family for many years. Each year Ed Carroll Motor Company hosts its annual WestFest Concours and Car Show. For the past several years this growing and successful event has gone to benefit our program.

Blizzard Box Event – View Event!
Each year many volunteers, staff and students work hard to put together a “blizzard box” filled with nonperishable food items that our clients can use in the event we cannot deliver a weekday noon meal due to inclement weather conditions.
Thanks to the students, faculty and family’s of Bennett and Dunn Elementary Schools, this years’ blizzard boxes have been collected, decorated, stuffed and delivered to our clients.
Thanksgiving Delivery – View Event!
Meals on Wheels delivers meals on all weekday holidays. It is often an annual event for families to deliver meals together on holidays and make the holiday extra special for volunteers and clients. We encourage bringing family members of all ages to experience the precious gift of giving!
