What is the time commitment for volunteering to deliver meals?
Volunteers are asked to commit for a minimum of three months. Timing varies depending on the area you volunteer in or the special project you select.
When do you need volunteers?
Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday, the occasional weekend and other various times year round. More specific times for volunteer positions are listed in “Areas to Volunteer.”
Can I volunteer with a group?
Yes! We encourage group driving partnerships with local businesses and organizations. Adopt a Route.

Can I bring my children or grandchildren?
Yes! Volunteering with your children or grandchildren for Meals on Wheels is a wonderful opportunity to pass on the values of kindness, compassion, civic responsibility AND our clients love it! We welcome family members of all ages.
What if I have a special skill or ability to volunteer?
If you have a particular skill or ability you feel would be an asset to our organization, contact our office to discuss your interest. Some special skills might include the following areas: photography, graphic design, music/arts, general office, fundraising, grant writing and data entry.
